The city of Turku offers multicultural early childhood education, which means that all children are taken into account equally and fairly regardless of age, gender or colour. In day-care services, the aim is to provide children belonging to cultural minorities with the opportunity to grow up in a multicultural society so that they can become a part of both their own cultural environment and Finnish society.
During the summer of 2021 you can run into artists from different fields of art in the Adventure park area! On the weekdays, Seikkis’ own Park Artists Karkki, Nella and Minka come up with all sorts of exciting creative experiences and adventures to participate in. In general, park artists can be encountered between 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm, but they don’t have a specific schedule so the encounters remain surprises!
In addition, various different visiting artists can be seen in the Adventure Park.

If the pupil needs a special diet for health reasons, the guardians should contact the school nurse annually.

If the family has difficulties in coping with its everyday life such as the childcare or a sudden or a prolonged crisis, a family worker can support the family to cope with the situation. The family worker searches for networks that support the daily life of the family together with the family.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT PÄIKKY
Why does my child’s picture appear in Päikky?
It is a security picture used for identification. Relying merely on the children’s names could cause a security risk in situations where the staff would not be able to recognise the children by their names only due to a short-term substitution or on-call duty time. The security picture is saved on a secured server owned by Abilita Oyj.
